A Haunted House 2 is a 2014 comedy movie that spoofs recent horror movies such as the Sinister and Paranormal Activity. It is the sequel to the 2013 movie "A Haunted House." It stars Marlon Wayans as Malcolm Johnson, Jaime Pressly as Megan, Essence Atkins as Kisha, Gabriel Iglesias, Ashley Rickards, Dave Sheridan as Bob Kearney, Affion Crockett as Ray-Ray and Cedric the Entertainer as Father Doug Williams. Here's the synopsis of the movie: After losing his possessed girlfriend Kisha (Essence Atkins) in a car crash, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) meets and falls for Megan, a single white mother of two. As he moves into a new home with the family, Malcolm discovers bizarre paranormal events surrounding the children and the property. To complicate matters, a back-from-the-dead Kisha moves in across the street, and thereâ€™s nothing worse than the scorn of a demonic ex-girlfriend. Really good watch, could watch again, and can recommend. I'll easily watch anything with Jaime Lee Pressly in it, but Marlon Wayans is kind of the big treat in this. One of the reasons I liked the first movie is that they got back to the spirit of the original "Scary Movie" franchise before they took it from the Wayans. There are a few jokes that just run too long, but over all the jokes are pretty funny and consistent, even doing call backs. The movie rolls together several different paranormal tropes very well, and given some very short re-writes could have been a rather complex legitimate horror movie.
