    Twilight - Watch Movie

Seventeen-year-old Isabella "Bella" Swan moves to Forks, a small town near Washington coast, to live with her father, Charlie, after her mother remarries to a minor league baseball player. She is quickly befriended by many students at her new high school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious and aloof Cullen siblings. Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in biology class on her first day of school; he appears to be disgusted by her, much to Bella's confusion. A few days later, Bella is nearly struck by a van in the school parking lot. Edward inexplicably moves from some feet away and stops the vehicle with his hand. He later refuses to explain this act to Bella and warns her against befriending him. Watch Twilight online now for the complete story of the romantic film. Twilight was released last November 2008 and was followed by the sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon on the following year. This year on June 30, 2010, they will be showing the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - the 3rd sequel of the Twilight franchise. Some Trivial Notes: Before all the Eclipse fever and the New Moon craze around the globe there was this simple movie that been patronized by millions (I think even billions) viewers from different part of the word. I am referring to Twilight movie, the first film of The Twilight Saga film series based on the popular novel of Stephenie Meyer. This is the first movie that the Edward-Bella-Jacob saga all started. This is where we have known Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart - the lovers and the relationship before the presence of Taylor Lautner. The movie earned over $408 million from its $37 million budget making it as one of the top earner of the series.

Clearly someone at Summit must have looked at the popularity of the "Harry Potter" franchise and thought they needed to emulate it. What better way than to pair heart-throb Robert Pattinson with Kristen Stewart and adapt the teen vampire series of novels by Stephenie Meyer? Good idea in principle - the stories are better than average, the characterisations and storylines have screen potential in spades - especially when we have some werewolves and good old fashioned jealousy - but somewhere along the line something happened that turned the idea into a mushy, meandering story with two stars who didn't gel at all well on screen; a script that really does no justice to the books at all - and, but for a few scenes at the end with baddie vamp Cam Gigandet as "James", leaves the whole thing totally devoid of any sense of menace or jeopardy - it is all just flat and insipid. The CGI was clearly expensive, but has dated quickly and all told this is a poor effort from all concerned... Can't wait for the sequel; I'm struggling to sleep at night!

I'm a big fan of comedy, but rarely has a movie ever made me laugh as much as this one. Genuinely don't think that cinema will ever be able to top this absolute masterpiece. This is what Louis Le Prince disappeared for. Tarantino, Scorsese, Kubrick, Spielberg -- they all quiver and shake at the mere mention of Twilight. Even if they were immortal vampires with an infinite amount of time, none of them could ever make a movie near as ground-breaking. A support group needs to be formed as this movie caused them to spiral into an identity crisis. > (5/5, originally reviewed 11/18/24)
